We already have the best possible drone fighter pilot movie already, though.

That’s right. I’m here to talk about Stealth.

Back when the first trailer was released I saw a synopsis about Cruise being like a test pilot to compete against a new drone fighter. I’m outing my anime past here, but it sounds a lot like Macross Plus, which I always thought would make a good Top Gun sequel.

Wasn't that also the plot of that Jamie Foxx-Jessica Biel vehicle, Stealth?

The only interesting thing about this trailer is the brief shot of what appears to be an Aurora/DynaSoar-like test plane, a hint at some kind of story beyond The Flying 'Memberberries.

Yeah, I mean there is no way in hell the US is winning any kind of conventional warfare situation against Iran. Those numbers have been run and they looked awful for us.

But the insane warhawks we have will continue to bray about the threat.

“What songs has it been downloading?”
“All of them.”

And out of all the songs on the planet the plane chose pop punk, if I recall correctly.

Incubus

It also had BT doing the soundtrack, so they could have used this track. Big Beat was the perfect genre for your slick action movie in that decade.

Nice to see an *actual* teaser nowadays. Very well done. I hate our most teasers now are just 2 minute trailers. The "real" trailer being the 3 minute version that maybe has a bit more of the plot.

He doesn’t actually fly the F18s but that little older jet that you see him fly is him actually flying it.

In reality she got ripped for terrible Freddie Prinze Jr. vehicle Summer Catch and then just never stopped getting more ripped as needed as she went forward. I think she realized once she finished shooting that movie that like half or more of her roles going forward were going to involve her in bikinis or underwear so she might as well keep it going.

My IMAX showing of the new Star Wars had a 4-5 minute “prologue” for that movie. Basically an extended scene with some shorter scenes that are also in that trailer. It was great. Especially because it didn’t tell you there was something supernatural going to happen.

Huh, the whole blended time thing seems pretty interesting. I like the hints that it won't always be obvious, like the shot of the train going backwards in the background.

That's why Dunkirk is Nolan's best movie since the dialogue and exposition is kept to a minimum.
