I’m outing my anime past here, but it sounds a lot like Macross Plus, which I always thought would make a good Top Gun sequel. Wasn't that also the plot of that Jamie Foxx-Jessica Biel vehicle, Stealth? The only interesting thing about this trailer is the brief shot of what appears to be an Aurora/DynaSoar-like test plane, a hint at some kind of story beyond The Flying 'Memberberries.

I think she realized once she finished shooting that movie that like half or more of her roles going forward were going to involve her in bikinis or underwear so she might as well keep it going.

My IMAX showing of the new Star Wars had a 4-5 minute “prologue” for that movie. Basically an extended scene with some shorter scenes that are also in that trailer. It was great. Especially because it didn’t tell you there was something supernatural going to happen.

Definitely intrigued. Concept looks great and it's Nolan. That trailer wasn't his most impactful though. Felt oddly paced and a bit slow.
