I really feel that Santa's nice list in the 41st millennium should be a single A4 piece of paper and the naughty list is a long scroll carried by multiple cherubs and is still being updated by a servo skull scribe as he walks.

It's on my list of things to try out soon. I've heard positive things about maxed out Warrior broods using the new PA3 rules to make them super-durable. They're probably the Tyranid unit that benefited most from the recent updates.

That is certainly another Primaris character, eeeyup.

Also giving a bonus for having a pure Grey Knights force almost seems mean.
Also yeah, the Dark Vengeance stuff is coming back as a made to order alongside some older Dark Angels models.

Kind of a unimpressive reveal overall.

For the book, I am betting DA get 30-40 pages while GK and TS share the last 10. :v:

So I was putting together two 1500 point lists using my armies of Astra Militarum and Grey Knights so I can play against a friend who doesn't have an army.

And essentially I had a "daemonhunters" list which is like 30 Tempestus Scions, Inquisitor Coteaz, and some Grey Knights, or alternatively I could go with 1500 points of just Grey Knights.

Since the IG list at 1500 points had 4 tank commanders, a hellhound, and some sentinels, I realised the extra stormtroopers give CP but doesn't really help kill all the vehicles, so I ended up going with the pure Grey Knights list, which at least has a venerable dreadnought and a landraider, as well as some paladins with daemonhammers

Agreed and it's probably reflected rulewise as well. Don't all the new chapter specific character sculpts get a name, even when they won't be getting their own rules?

Yep. It's still one datatsheet with several different loadouts.

Technically it's the same with regular Russes as well, but that's mitigated by being able to take them in squadrons.

Ah OK thanks, that makes the list a little easier to play against since I'm going to take the handicap with my GK army as I've more experience playing 40k though not this edition.

I just quickly switched out the extra tank commander for an extra sentinel, some autocannons in a heavy weapon squad, and a primaries psyker, and Creed can have Kell to protect him.

I still think the AM list is far stronger but killing all those Russes was my biggest worry.

Thanks for the suggestions on the last page. I'm not interested in being super competitive, but all the wraiths look dope and I actually own a wraithseer already so, how does this look?

Wraithknight [27 PL, 330pts]: Titanic Ghostglaive and Scattershield

++ Spearhead Detachment +1CP (Aeldari - Craftworlds) [53 PL, 782pts] ++

Craftworld Attribute: *Custom Craftworld*

+ HQ +

Wraithseer [9 PL, 113pts]: Starcannon

I'd like to pair it down to 1000 points to start learning again, so I'm assuming the knight would have to go and then restructure my detachments. I'm currently thinking of using the reroll 1s to wound custom craftworld.

Master Crafters is a great one, each unit can reroll a hit and a wound. Not as amazing on the Wraithguard, but very strong for the 'lords.

Just a PSA, if you want any Dark Vengeance stuff on Made-to-Orde this week, you have to buy the entire set. I know I forgot, but there's one sprue that has both DA stuff and a few chaos cultists, so they couldn't even split it into Chaos and DA halves. Shame that.

Also, if I use Expert Crafters with the lords, would it be better to splurge for brightlances since the reroll will mean a lot more than rerolling a shuriken cannon?

You get to pick two, unless you pick the Fight and Fade trait.

I used Webway Warriors and Wrath of the Dead for cheaper deepstrike on multiple Wraith units (3 CP for three uses of Webway Strike instead of 3 CP for one use targeting two units).

I don't have anything Warhammer specific, but I have Talisman: Digital Edition for offer. I also have codes for the expansions (Blood Moon, Harbinger, Sacred Pool), so if you want those, please PM me.

Just replace the asterisk in the link with bold characters in the above sentences. They're all in the same order (first asterisk is replaced by the first bold letter, second asterisk is replaced by second, etc.)

Please let me know if the the code works and you got it. Otherwise, I'm going to fret about it all day.

Wraithblades don't quite get there unless you have something else to get shot (or you're using them as a big, durable decoy at T6 with a 3++/5+++ thanks to Protect and Fortune), but Wraithguard are fully capable of getting into range without deepstrike thanks to the ability to Advance and still shoot (thank you, Assault weapons), Quicken, and Guide for any accuracy advancing might have cost you. If you're using the Wraith Host specialist detachment from Vigilus Defiant, you can also give a big squad of Wraithguard a 4++ thanks to a Spiritseer.

Now, all that said, if you're using that much Psychic chicanery (to do all of that is at least four casts not counting anything else you may want like Doom) you may also get more use out of the Craftworld trait that treats 1s on Psychic tests as 2s instead of Webway Warriors.

50-50 chance that the arm is its own bit and you choose between helmet and rifle as a separate bit, which means you'd be able to use the helmet for his actual head.
