here is a sample probation form. the ban form is substantially the same. there are 2 txt entry fields: the upper field is the reason visible on the users rap sheet and in the lepers colony; the lower field is for “mod notes”, addenda or info visible only to iks, mods, and admins. if you put a big dumb gif on the rap sheet, you might want to clarify a reason in the mod note. if there are greater contextual bits, or you want to suggest ramping up future actions toward the poster, or w/e—mod note is a good place to stick it

i think every action you can take that leaves a record on the rap sheet, also has a mod note section. some things that DO NOT appear on the rap sheet, like av/title changes, also have a mod note area for some dumb reason
