I haven't seen anything about him having a cameo, but I wouldn't be shocked.

Last year, they delayed the show to its current release date. According to rumors the show was testing extremely poorly, so they did a lot of re-shoots where they added all the TNG cameos and changed the plot around somewhat.

The plot seems like it is going to be a Firefly-esque "this is a special girl and I need to save her from the bad governments with my wacky crew" on a smaller ship with lots of focus on action.

I hope I'm wrong and the show is smart and thoughtful with room for lots of good acting by Stewart, but it looks to me like they are going for old man action instead.

It's been like 15 years since Prime Vick and my memory's gotten fuzzy but Lamar's sudden takeoff speed repeatedly catching defenses off guard is what does it for me I guess. Every defense playing against Prime Vick was (almost) always ready for him to take off.

Eh, I think people forget how absolutely unreal Vick was at first.

Lamar's the better NFL quarterback either way because he cares enough to study, by Vick's admission he never really tried to learn the position until he got to the Eagles.
