Looping in Vulture at the end there to confirm this is in the Spider-Man universe, thereby getting into the MCU through the back door, is weird. Not surprising, but weird. Especially given that this just looks like a vampire movie. There were no similar references in Venom that I'm forgetting, were there?

Probably best to do that in general regardless of Spider-Man/Holland's age so that her character is her own thing and not defined by her relationship to him.
