We aren't allowed to play that anymore or communicating we are fine while SCUBA diving. Apparently it's been appropriated by some white supremacists/neo nazis.

I’ve seen people put a Pi in a Wii U game pad, which would be the chunkier version.

I’d hate to do that unless the hardware was beyond repair though, since there’s a limited supply of those.

Empty shells are readily available on eBay, presumably from defective units since there's not much point in gutting one just to sell the plastic for $10, if you wanted to do this yourself.

Unrelatedly, if anyone has some sort of CAD files for the gamepad get in touch. I bought one to shove a switch into, but it turns out it'll take some heavy modding.

I found this that someone made in tinkercad, but it's solid and would take some modification to just make a shell:

Parker Brothers is owned by Hasbro so who the gently caress knows what's going on here

No Apologies was at a Dollar Tree though while Sorry is like $10 at Walmart

My guess would be more copyright than anything. I'm no lawyer but I don't think something as generic as Sorry! could be trademarked in a general sense. Sorry! the game is basically just Pachisi which goes back...I think at least a thousand years and comes from India. There's a crap ton of variations of it and since Pachisi is freaking ancient nobody owns the copyright to it. However, you can come up with a variant, give it a specific name and visual style, and copyright that. That's why knockoffs are a thing; you can make something similar but different enough (there's some grey area in copyright law in general) that it can slide by. My guess is that Parker Brothers is just assuming that knockoffs are going to happen no matter what and beating them to the punch. It also looks like the knockoffs are generally more cheaply produced. Instead of pawns there's tokens and the boards look smaller.

Pissy Bitch stan
Parker bros owns Hasbro and turned them into their cheapo division. they aren't going to sue themselves and knock offs are just cheaper to produce and sell without hurting the brand of the games they want to make movies out of.
hasbro once undercut my import toy business, I can't PROVE they started bribing customs to tear my packages apart, but the second they licensed the product my imports started to get torn.

Mopsy, I'm starting to question your medical credentials.

I just realized my purse probably qualifies for this thread! It's a tiny backpack I got at our friendly local Amazon returns outlet. I don't normally buy things on $5 day unless I'm sure it's worth way more new, but I don't know or care how much this thing cost initially.

I'd love to know where they stole the art from to make this thing. I tried to find it but gave up pretty quickly.

I'm not interested in any reality TV, especially the "Got Talent" "Idol" style shows.

But I would pay cash money to watch a show around that.
