inheritance is a large part of wealth. not even large sums of money. like, if your grandpa inherited enough money to buy a reliable used car in their late teens/early 20's then that was a huge leg up that had generationl effects on you. it would have allowed htem to reliably get to work and expand their options for jobs. that would have led to them being able to put your parents through college, which in turn would have led to increased benefits and more generational wealth fo ryou.

theres a lot of factors. even owning a modest house outright will allow you to work for poo poo wages and put money away since not having to pay rent/mortgage frees up a lot of your income.

I am absolutely in awe at how the words and actions of the moderators as a group during and after the PPJ thing could not be more perfectly and needlessly inflammatory if they were calculated and coordinated to be so. It is utterly baffling. What is their desired result?
