The Nightmare Collective stuff is mostly mediocre, it would be an average to above average storyline in Impact, but AEW has set the bar so high that it feels worse by comparison.

I've run into the issue again where to qualify something as motyc I put it against the last match I nominated and thought was motyc (in this case okada/ibushi). I dont think I'll be able to dole out moty noms for a long time.

HM: NXT Women's Battle Royal: A surprisingly good battle royal. While I'm vaguely bummed about the result, I'm also sorta relieved because it's blatantly obvious Rhea is retaining. MOTYC: Matt Riddle and Pete Dunne vs. Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster: Holy poo poo this match was amazing. Go and watch it. Both of these matches were from the 1/15/20 episode of NXT, obviously.

Even with Ishii, Okada, Shingo and Ospreay tearing poo poo up in the G1 I can't imagine there will be many, if any matches as good as Okada/Ibushi. This is from December 7, so it's not a vote, J-Ru. But, y'all should check out Bandido vs. Aramis from the MexaWrestling that day. Bandido is a known future star, but Aramis is really great too. Probably not quite HM worthy but the 4/1 GHC Jr Tag title match between Stinger and Kongo is good fun. TBH the whole show is well worth your time, solid from bottom right to... 4th top is as much as I've seen so far with Jr Heavyweight, National and Heavyweight title matches to go.
