Finished Dune Messiah. Pretty much from the start it's clear Paul's hopes from the first book have failed - the Jihad is happening. He does semi-successfully prevent the plot against him, in that while dies, he's not truly discredited. The book is pretty clear that prescience has it's limits, and, more importantly, it makes you aware of terrible things that are going to happen which you have no way of preventing. Which makes passing his prescience to his son at the end seem like a kinda assholish thing to do. "Alright, this is your problem now, bye!"

Potential films for the first trailer to be attached to in the April - June timeframe: No Time to Die, April 10 Black Widow, May 1 Fast & Furious 9, May 22 Wonder Woman 1984, June 5 Top Gun: Maverick, June 26 Absolute latest would have to be Tenet on July 17, which like Dune (and WW84) is a WB film and I'd assume the the target demographic is almost identical. kiimo actually works on trailers though so he can correct me. The stuff that's gonna start showing up here is probably promotional stuff, plot-lite, visual designs and actor anecdotes. I think you'll be fine up until the weeks leading up to release day

I no longer work at WB so I don’t know which films they’re targeting for the first teaser or trailers unfortunately but I imagine whatever is a big film in a similar vein.
