teams stopped working the other day and the only way to fix it was to go into app data and delete the teams folder. literally lotus notes level software quality.

When you try to switch, it will tell you what programs you are running that suck rear end and cannot switch without re-launching one of which is teams. You can see if its doing it by opening activity monitor and going to Window, GPU History and seeing if the dGPU is active at times when it shouldn't be

postcards from the chredge: HEVC decoding just doesn't work despite having the "experimental" HEVC decoder active and also the codecs installed, chredge just plain ol' doesn't do HEVC decoding on my system, which is why 4k netflix doesn't work. running legacy edge side by side, it works just fine, so it's deffo just broken in the chromium derived one. good stuff guys, quality work as always infernal machines fucked around with this message at 17:46 on Jan 19, 2020 |

the one thing "normal" edge actually did really well was a quite principled top-to-bottom hardware accelerated architecture, so not too surprised that it is going to get a lot more chrome-whatever-happens-to-work from here on out (with the upside of course that things will work the same as everywhere else)
