Reading the Bible cover to cover is weird. Time keeps jumping around, the author keeps changing, all of the sudden you’re on ancestry.com reading boring genealogies, it gets really horny for a while, there’s a bunch of plot holes...

It’s pretty common for kids who finish confirmation class to get a bible with their name engraved on the cover, and it’s not like that’s some sort of kiddie bible that you need to get an adult version of when you’re older.
