I think he usually touched both of his hands to his body at some points, or sometimes it would cut to him starting his transformation and you're supposed to assume he touched himself off screen

They were consistent with it but also played a bit fast and loose

I think that sequence took lots of creative liberties for the purpose of looking cool. Also I noticed watching the dub that Deku doesn't have a line about hitting him before he can regenerate while the sub had one.

Considering how the fight sequence went it makes sense not to have that line. For the most part it wasn't a constant barrage of blows to get past everything it was hitting him so hard that his body couldn't take it anymore.

Sure, he's already a murderer and a child abuser. Might as well add public indecency to that list. :v:

I don't think the word child abuser is strong enough to describe what he was doing. It was enough to make a Yakuza boss who would already be used to shady and hosed up things to ask what the gently caress is wrong with him.

Eri is a precious child who must be protected at all costs.

Eri is the MHA version of Nezuko from Demon Slayer.

so eri is definitely gonna be used to heal all for one's wounds later in the story right?

actually i guess overhaul could've done it too. huh.

I mean, I doubt All For One would trust Overhaul to remake him. But he could just steal the quirk right out of Overhaul and do it himself; just because Overhaul can't use the quirk doesn't mean he doesn't have it. So in the hypothetical situation that Overhaul and All For One were in the same place and free enough for the former to fix the latter, the latter would also probably be able to jack the former's quirk for himself.

I wonder if All For One could steal Overhaul's quirk through that severed chunk of arm Compress is carrying around now?

I don't have the wherewithal to go back and watch but was there some exposition as to why Seafood Kid only ate and thus manifested like the same 4 or 5 sushi powers? Did they explain why he couldn't chow down a slab of beef and get super strength or eat some kind of insect that can sense vibrations, etc.?

His hero costume includes tons of pockets full of all different kinds of food so it's assumed he can use a wider variety of food than we see on-screen or on-page. We've him use probably five or six different foods (including that one dude's crystals) as part of his quirk but he has way more than five or six pockets in his costume so he clearly trains with more than just the octopus and clams we see him use a lot.

He also had bird feet at some point. Suneater does seem to prefer seafood, but he can mimic basically anything he eats. Not sure if that's limited strictly to living creatures and/or organic material; that crystal he ate raises some questions but it might actually be organic since it was produced from a human's body.

Nah, Nighteye is capital d Dead. Aizawa even mentioned that using Eri's power in this case wouldn't do any good since it's unreliable.

Overhaul turned someone into a tire and he got better. Being grotesquely mutilated doesn't mean you're dead.

There's some handwave about how if he doesn't put them back together immediately, they stay dead, but it's never clarified how long, and it's completely plausible that it's just an excuse because Chisaki doesn't like fixing people.

What is with the villains in this show and having quirks that'd make them great heroes? Is it a deliberate theme? Chisaki being a medical professional would be able to heal Nighteye, Ingenium, even All Might. I know, in fiction, it's because it'd remove all tension, it's just an interesting repeated theme. Many of the villains have powers that could be used to help people to incredible effect, but they're not interested in that.

TL;DR:

The problem with any survey is that your results are heavily biased for only being answered by the kinds of people who answer surveys. Getting anime opinions from people who regularly post in ADTRW threads has the same issue.
