She just *gave up* instead of actually losing any votes or being rejected by Labour voters (even if this was extremely likely) 2. She clearly had no plan of how to actually win the leadership election after trashing the membership (the people she needed to vote for her) and clearly not having put any effort into preparation or getting a trade union on board Did anyone from a local party have anyone from the Jess Phillips campaign get in touch? We did from the Starmer and RLB campaign but no-one else.

I dunno if it'll work, but you could try turning the phone off, then holding the power button while holding volume up (or it might be down think it depends) until you get the boot menu. Then use the volume buttons to jump through the menu til you see Recovery Mode, and tap the power button to select it. Then go down to Wipe Cache Partition and do that Could be that your memory's just gone bad though and short of extreme janitoring there's not a lot you can do about that

I really wonder how liberals square the circle of the coalition. Because like, clearly they're compatible with the tories, apart from, currently, brexit, for largely aesthetic reasons, being as they supported it in coalition and in the 2015 manifesto. So what sets them apart, in their mind, I wonder?

Ms Adequate posted:I assume they think it's some kind of trans conspiracy to corrupt the kids and ruin honest cishetero porn rather than... people who find trans people hot for one reason or another. Pretty much. They discussed and agreed with a blog where the author had “evidence” of exactly that. This evidence consisted of two heavily cherry picked lists of videos from Pornhub, one cis and one trans. The cis list was comprised of extremely degrading and borderline violent videos (the kind of stuff you really have to go out of your way to find), and the trans list was lot more vanilla with romantic leanings. This supposedly exposed a massive effort by Pornhub to displace cis women with trans women by normalising violence against the former and encouraging love and tenderness with the latter. In addition according to the mumsnetters, the only reason a man would have sex with a trans woman is because he is conditioned toward sexual violence, and violence is often associated with masculinity, therefore the only way he can get off is to have anal sex with someone with the same genitals. As opposed to the more obvious reason that if a cis man and trans woman have the same plumbing down below your options for penetrative sex are rather limited. As usual with Mumsnet they ignore both the existence of trans men, and that hetero cis couples also partake in butt stuff. Absolute madness.

There is a hilariously whiny PB piece about this - the guy running it is a Lib Dem - the premise of which is 'Why won't Labour members realise they need to change as the electorate won't'. This of course completely ignores the fact in this instance the Labour members are the electorate. Surely it cuts both ways.
