Without spoiling anything, the new data fights seem to be a LOT more heavily remixed than the KH2 data fights were. It’s not just in a “these bosses were originally designed for group battles so we needed to flesh them out” way either, even Vanitas is a totally different beast than he was before. So up until this point, have we had anything locked behind playing a specific difficulty mode that wasn't unlockable with harder requriements in the lower modes? Cause one of the new keyblades requires having the Proof from critical mode.

At this point im covering my eyes and yelling into the thread. I saw a clip of how Sora doing basic ground and air combos pre and post patch and im so hyped for my boy to be back to being a character-action protagonist when i start the game tomorrow. Final Mix gang 4 life. Also, I need to know how 3 ends before thinking where the franchsie goes next, of course, but the feel I get is that they'll release a Switch game soon-ish called some bullshit like Redacted Scarlet Symphony, have some odd gyro controls, and that's the one that finally gets to say "gently caress it" and uses one of the IPs Disney has bought over the last decade for a world, like Marvel or Star Wars. So do you need to beat crit mode/get all the emblems to unlock Oathkeeper and Oblivion or no? I've done both but some friends haven't and I can't check until after work.

If you beat Critical Mode, does the Proof of Times Passed appear in all your save files, or only in the Critical Mode one and ones you NG+ with that Critical Mode file?
