Yeah, my fiance who is extremely anti-social and perfectly happy to stay inside all of the time is usually oddly happy to take a day or two into the office when she's out for a couple weeks. I can imagine that itch would be even worse when you're stuck in the hospital instead of at home. I typed a paragraph explaining a situation but then I couldn't word it without making me seem like a huge drama queen. Basically someone we sometimes hang out with but don't really care for all that much overheard me asking about when we're leaving on Friday for a weekend trip with some friends and basically invited themselves. Like he's fine to have a few beers with, but once he gets drunk he turns into a huge rear end in a top hat. We were too big of babies to tell him no, but we all know he's going to wind up being a drunken petulant child that we have to babysit, so I suggested that we just leave without him.

Congrats QC! i had a beauty happen today. Mrs. and I are looking at booking a fairly high end trip in April. Just getting the details hammered out and literally 5 minutes from making the call and firmly commiting and getting payment terms, get a text from the Mrs. My company is changing end of April. Don't know if I'll still have a job or not. Well, poo poo. gently caress it, we're still probably going to do the trip. If she is laid off she might not be able to get the time for a long holiday again for a few+ years. And if she still does, we were planing on it anyway.

They have to be made in Cornwall to be Cornish pasties (though they don't have to be cooked there). Anything else is just a pasty...
