I've owned uh like three cars, my wife has owned 1. I'm 37, so each car lasted me 6 and a half years which isn't too bad. I only ever got another car because loving suicidal deer jumping out of the god drat woods. Goddamn giant rats if you ask me. I should still be driving my 98 Saturn with manual windows if I had my way

The thing about that Biden clip is when he turns. You can see he's genuinely really loving annoyed in the way he just suddenly, sharply turns around and zeroes in on the guy I mean I don't give a gently caress, but Howard Dean's campaign was ended by a lot less

hmmm yes how do we get the mythical white working class voters to get on board with Biden? Perhaps we can point out that his opponent, who we very much don't want to win, isn't supportive of taking their guns away? https://twitter.com/tomwatson/status/1220032841951731718?s=20

That if he just proves that he has some black friends that black voters will decide that his support of racist cops in South Bend was all in good fun or something? I guess it's a rhetorical question because even while I'm typing it I can already hear his campaign strategists in my head, talking in buzz-word filled sentences about pragmatic black voters and how they'll switch over to Mayor Butt en masse if he can just edge out Biden in Iowa. Why does Biden have such a Trumpian amount of gross baggage, as well as Trumpian immunity from its consequences. Nobody's talked about it for a while, but it would sink any other Democrat's career (and even some Republicans') to have even one picture getting Biden's level of handsy with women/girls.

I chalked that instance up to just his old-rear end mentality of macho tough guy greaser bullshit. Raise a hand to him and get your rear end beat by Secret Service?

Biden floats because D voters think a second Trump term would be gut-punchingly loathsome. Biden has the "He can beat Trump!" shine, and as long as he does he will maintain a strong base of support. I'm not saying it's deserved or a good thing.

Bloomberg does realize he got into the race WAY too late to even remotely be a factor, right? Like if he had swooped in while Biden was still flip-flopping on running and claimed the "centrist old white guy who can get the John Q Publics who flocked to Trump back on the Democrats side" lane maybe he'd at least be putting up not completely embarrassing poll numbers, but that ship sailed ages ago. Something about feeling entitled to political office just breaks rich people brains even more than usual. Reminds me of when Meg Whitman poured more of her own personal wealth into her California Governor bid than any other candidate in US history, and still lost stone cold to Brown because even $144 million in personal campaign financing wasn't enough to distract the electorate from the fact that she was complete poo poo.
