Most of our large firefighting aircraft and larger helicopters are from the usa, this one is operated by Coulson who have a few other C130s around the world. Which might get grounded til they find out how they crashed

Two of the fires to the South have joined together today. There's now a burnt section that runs the entire way from the Southern Highlands near Sydney all the way to Bega in the South. That's a distance of 300km's for those palying at home.

I’m glad someone has done this, there’s nothing near me atm but one of the annoying things when seq was copping it was the fact that a big one hopped across the border near me and it was hard to keep track of it since the bulk of it wasn’t covered by the qld map and it would just cut off at the border and I’d have to switch maps to see how woodenbong was doing
