Yeah I mean just ignore they locked down like 50 million people in China and it's still spreading and much higher mortality rate than any recent flu variant. There is no way in hell our medical system in US could handle this if it broke out.

This got brought up in the Disney thread, but the Chinese Disney parks seem to be down for the duration. If someone already dropped it at WDW or Disneyland, poo poo's gonna spread pretty quick. Any of the amusement parks, really, in Orlando or LA. No matter how clean they are, it's impossible to disinfect at that level of commitment.

Have they shut down the areas of China that make all the stuff we import? That's when you'll see ramifications here even if it doesn't end up sweeping through. Also glad I just got my 3 month supply of insulin and pump supplies(t1 diabetic). But I'm still hosed probably if this thing disrupts normal work flow badly enough. Also if our officials did find out this was outbreak the movie levels of bad would they even tell us? Wouldn't that cause insane amounts of panic?
