Yeah but Trump refuses to admit he was ever wrong. The GOP could have agreed to censure him even and it would have likely gone away. The Fanta Menace’s ego wont allow it. So you will see whatever the gently caress this was and it fail badly.

Surely any of them, if they lost re-election, would be able to find a better and higher paying job pretty soon after.

who knows. maybe he was waiting to see if trump would blow up tehran. outside that. my guess is he was hoping to hit trump after they acquitted so he wouldn't be as much of a martyr or whatever. that way he could get his revenge but people would forget quicker.

So what if we all created Twitter accounts "stating support for the President that he should let all the cowards testify and then go and testify himself and show them all who runs this country." Or something to that effect in hopes it becomes his good idea?

Would be to terribly hard. 2 accounts per Goon. One directly tweeting to Trump's account encouraging him to testify. The other accounts tweeting among themselves about what a good idea and how great the presidency would be again if Trump testified and "laid down the law." First accounts then retweet whats coming from the second group, second group retweets and follows the first group. Looks like a number of chuds agreeing with another number of chuds. Group 2 possibly picking up real chuds.

If Trump thinks his base wants this and will stand behind him he will literally bulldoze through his handlers. Also at this point pretty sure his handlers are so used to being run over that they won't be much of a roadblock.

We could get the numbers from this thread, the Bernie thread, and probably a couple of others. 50 to 100 goons would create a nice honey pot.

You could get some of the paid bot services to add in. You could go from a couple hundred to several thousands quickly. That would likely get eyes from the chuds and other bots. You would likely get them to join in. The fun thing would be if you see any pushback from the foreign operated bots networks.

Even if they shopped this around to a chudge that would grant the restraining order, couldn’t the senate compel Bolton to testify regardless? I know “constitutional crisis” is en vogue for the Trump admin but it seems that the legislative could, or at least should, be able to override it.

Honestly we might have to just wait it out till Fox's audience dies out, most are too far gone at this point. They definitely aren't bringing in a younger audience, and since they're so reviled in pretty much every other demographic we may be lookin at Fox at its apex until the Trump Administration finally goes under.

I was thinking about that recently, actually. What is Fox gonna do when the Boomers die off? Are they going to die out with a whimper or radicalize and try to appeal more to the last demographic they possibly could appeal to: alt-right chuds who live on Breitbart, InfoWars, and r/TheDonald?

Basically I can only see them dying off or removing all pretense and going full fash.

quote:

Jones said that Dershowitz's arguments Monday that the founding fathers would have found both articles of impeachment in violation of the Constitution because they are not specifically mentioned did not carry water with him. "I'm sorry, I just don't buy that," he said.

"I think the arguments they're making on Article II are much more persuasive than Article I," he said. "And Article I, they're focusing solely on the [July 25th call] transcript and there's so much more to the story than the transcript, and they continue to talk about cross-examination of witnesses but yet they continue to block witnesses that have first-hand knowledge. That's disingenuous."

but only the "he made some good points" line gets quoted as the lede, because to get clicks they need to sell the story that there might be upset within the ranks of the democratic caucus even though they remain (pretty remarkably) unified on the things that matter right now

Yeah but Facebook already has a negative rep as well, and it seem the majority of people who they're shifting to target are, again, the baby boomer generation. They can shift their medium but their audience is still the same.

On a related note, when it comes to Social Media most people use at least on average three different apps, it's a lot harder to have the same grip that television offered, especially since Fox News built it's audience when SM wasn't even a thing for a good decade.
