I'm guessing the vast majority of people aren't there don't know about the books or TV show at this point. So no draw there. And the people who loved the books and TV show (my father) are likely going to be too angry that this is nothing like the books (like my father) and stay away. Just make some random Mark Whalberg in Boston action movie and you'd probably get more people to take interest. Making this a Spenser movie is such a strange choice to me.
