Yeah I'll probably be going to Migration again. I think I'll be seeing Yellow Eyes & Obsequiae before that when I commit to Fire in the Mountains fest too. Fest vacations are the best vacations.

Yeah, good point. I think using the discord for low-effort/chat type posts and trying to keep more effort-posts in the threads would be a good balance, but I'm not interested in telling other people how to post so it's whatever. One thing I've been thinking about: I noticed that PHIZ does a yearly mixtape swap. I'm not sure how many tape nerds there are in the metal threads but would people be interested in doing something like that?

Here's an alt/prog metal album themed after a Kung Fu movie, Five Deadly Venoms, by the band, Shaolin Death Squad. Pretty great dynamics in the album overall.
