gonna rant a little here but I really, really hate how radlibs refuse to recognize that being attractive is a form of privilege because they don't think objective attractiveness is real. it's exactly the same as going "I don't see color" as a response to racism

what annoys me is really just the hypocrisy though. I'm autistic so lack of consistency gets me. which makes trying to engage with politics and ideology in general almost unbearable but woke stuff is particularly bad about self-contradiction

things really started connecting for me once I realized that everyone around me is incapable of internal logical consistency* and that no matter how much I think and think and think it will never make up for my lack of charisma when it comes to influencing others to do what I think is correct. It sucks, but I miss like 7/10 of all social cues and I'm not willing to gamify my interpersonal relationships enough to handle that. * neither am I of course, but luckily I can't/don't see it unless I look for it

There are a lot of people out there primed for a socialist message who's main obstacle to embracing socialism is never actually having been exposed to a narrative other than liberal head-in-the-sand point scoring and far-right YouTube demagoguery.
