The pie shop across from stock lands in Burleigh was legit good and last time I dropped in it was a lovely canteen that charges 9 bucks for a roast sandwich and I know I’ve posted about it a lot across this threads iterations but I’m bummed it’s gone bc it was the last good pie shop near the beach on the forbidden coast I think

on that note an old friend of mine pissed into an empty bottle while going 100 doing sydney to canberra drive once cause he refused to pull over even when i begged him to for my own sake. somehow he didn't spill it but it was insanely dangerous and stupid. never got in the car with him after that fucken nightmare.

There's a pie shop in the middle of Goomeri that does a similarly priced pie that's v good. I had one that was braised Lamb in rosemary and red wine gravy that still is the best lamb pie I've ever had
