I never played FFTA but I remember someone telling me that the game doesn't even have a proper ending, just that it kinda ends with the player being able to keep playing but the story itself doesn't wrap up. Honestly, one of the reasons I never actually finished FFT was because I was hellbent on trying to get the best possible team pretty much from the start. And by best possible team I mean team of my favorite kinds of units with perfect brave/faith stats and other minmaxed stuff and also trying to learn how the Calculator works and also trying to farm up a good Dragoon and making sure Ramza yelled as much as possible or whatever his special skill was as well as unlocking and obtaining the various other special classes. I never even got to the point where I would have been compelled to turn Gafgarion into a ninja with throw so that I could obtain his equipment after his betrayal. Also, I sat through that damned opening so many times. l i t t l e m o n e y Also also, it took me like 3 losses at the start of the game to realize that I had units besides Ramza I could deploy lol

Is that true or was the person just making poo poo up? nah the story ends properly. it's a little open ended but yknow. he may have misinterpreted one of the chapter endings idk. as for uniques, they will also leave if their Faith gets too high (or Brave too low, i think Orlandu complains about getting too old for this poo poo for example and then leaves for ever). technically proper Guests won't ever leave your party either but 1) they can't be deployed in random encounters and 2) they won't appear in enough story missions to permanently increase their Faith high enough to trigger the disbanding event

FFTA has an ending and its a fun one since the villain winsLooper posted:the no knockback law is only in ffta2, pretty sure. in the first game you could end up in a fight with all monsters while the "don't hurt monsters" law was active if you aren't paying attention and don't have any antilaw cards, but there aren't any you can trigger accidentally You are right, I muddled the two up.

Speaking of Blizzard, I cannot believe how badly they have screwed up this Warcraft 3 reforged thing. All they had to do was make the polygons slightly less jaggedy and maybe allow people to zoom out further.

there was an interview about it before and apparently for sc1 remaster they t alked to korean pros and they all said dont change anything, at all, dont touch anything, just do graphics, and for wc3 they talked to chinese and european pros and they said this game could do with a few patches and fixes and i dont know how much of that is true or not except the sc1 remaster bit is 100% def true also they said they wanted to make "wc3 as perfectly balanced as sc1" which is funny because sc1 is not balanced at all which is why its good

I'm doing Loc Muinne in Witcher 2 which I've been playing for about 4 years at this point, on and off. I have spent about an hour there so far. How large is this section? I mean, how long is it? I'm sort of done with this game but I want to see it through and FINALLY play Witcher 3.

I dont know if Ive ever played a game less interested in teaching you how to play it than Fishing Sim World. I made more progress in Unlimited Saga than this. There are multiple, video only tutorials in this game, and not a one is about how one actually hooks the fish on the line.

Unless you have a disc or just never connect to the launcher ever again, WE3 isn't playable.

Yeah all buying it does is give you access to the new models (and the ability to turn on shadows which is Reforged exclusive). This is like 75% of the reason it is getting slammed so hard on Metacritic. If it was just a poo poo game, it would have gotten something in the 3-4 range and people would go back to base WC3. But people can't go back to base WC3 because they get the new engine, menus, cutscenes, and ToS forced on them no matter what they do.
