Not gonna lie.. I was kind of getting that franchise fatigue feeling watching the latest trailer and then the last stunt pulled me right back in. Then the ending made it a day 1 viewing.

I actually didn't Seven does open with Closer (Precursor Mix) over the credits but one, that's barely a NIN song (it's a deep cut remix that sounds more like Coil than anything standard for them), and two, the movie as a whole is not even remotely in the aesthetic sensibility I'm describing Saw is basically shot like a 90-minute version of the video for The Perfect Drug whereas Seven is a standard glossy 90s thriller past that point (and arguably cemented that aesthetic after Silence of the Lambs created it)

Weird they uploaded it in 1440P. It seems to be for the higher bitrate rather than resolution, which I appreciate. If you can get on board with the whole "ridiculous serial-killer soap opera" angle, the series stays pretty enjoyable right to the end, and even the first attempt at rebooting it had both one really good kill (the guy's head getting loving Demogorgon'd with the laser cutters) and a twist that made me actually go "well played" at the movie.
