Idk, distributed affordable housing spread through different neighborhoods seems better than a giant isolated housing project, but the leap to "if you support the wrong kind of housing you're not just making a mistake, you're not even a progressive" is way far.

little munchkin posted:the ama actually caps the amount of people who are accepted into medical school each year, with the intention of keeping demand + salaries high kinda, it's more that the AMA has successfully restricted the number of new medical schools opening the greater bottleneck is the number of spots in medical residency programs, which you've gotta apply for your final year of med school and something like 1 in 5 graduating doctors don't match into. ofc funding for that is tied to medicaid, which means it hasn't been raised since the 90s. also pay for medical residents has been frozen since the 90s, hope you weren't too broke when you got into med school (lol)

Well, what I think of gay people is that there just might be a good amount of nuance in between the aforementioned stereotype and "exactly like any other neoliberal political husk in the system, except has chaste awkward kisses for the cameras with a same sex partner rather than an different sex one". But I get the impression that a lot of people are not going to listen to that. Also, a politician "fried on poppers" might (maybe) be a tiny bit better than the drunk cokeheads we normally contend with.
