Random flashback of prior ‘planning session’ fruits from 2016. Where CIG talks about puking animations, police stations with handcuffing animations, etc. A week or two prior, Jake said they were about to bring salvaging mechanics into the game. And improvements to the party system.

Why the gently caress are there bags of coffee on top of the machine? That part is directly on top of the pressure vessel. It gets hot. You put cups there to warm them up. Why is everything dumb with SC. Why. It's because I don't understand coffee development, isn't it

It looks more detailed than that, actually. It's got super smooth edges around everything so it looks like a molded plastic thingy... I'd love to know the polycount on that thing. Guess we'll find out eventually, when they add "reveal bobblehead polycount" on the roadmap for patch 4.7!

I know we don't actually play the game or read the sub or really engage in any way with Star Citizen around here anymore, but what's the deal with the Carrack hype? The fans are making GBS threads themselves over this thing not being out 7 days into the month. But to the best of my knowledge the new ship doesn't actually... do anything, right? It's just another exploration ship with no mechanics? Citizens are so weird. Ships at this point are basically multiple-hundred-dollar skins for the quantum drive that you use to go from empty, meaningless landing pad to empty, meaningless planets. It's like if the whole team fortress community started collectively pounding the table and demanding that valve release the next hat, or something. Who loving cares?
