Yeah the best part of that match was immediately after they pretend Mankind is too injured to continue he gets up runs back to the cage climbs up again and is accidentally thrown through the cage injuring him for real. The dramatic overacting from the announcer followed by an almost monotone "That's it. He's dead."

There's a lot of people who are good at their job and deserve way more than actors or athletes make, but that just means they're underpaid.

It's also worth tangentially noting that actors and athletes have weird-rear end career trajectories. A good sitcom or franchise gig can probably net you a $50k/year income for 20 years if you play it right, but you get the majority of that up-front while you're hot poo poo and everyone is looking to fleece you. It requires a certain long-term mind that--surprise--most young, pretty talented people don't have.
