if the epidemic gets a foothold in the US and the US attempts a quarantine on any appreciable scale, it's gonna be super cool when ICE sets up their own "quarantine sites" and starts disguising themselves as public health officials

I just felt really under the weather this morning and read the news and got nervous It is cold and flu season the current CDC guidelines for testing: fever AND signs of lower respiratory illness (coughing, shortness of breathe) AND has been in contact with a coronavirus patient in last 14 days (but this one they'd probably still check) OR fever AND signs of lower respiratory illness AND has been to Hubei province in the last 14 days OR fever AND in the hospital for lower respiratory illness AND traveled from mainland china 14 days ago

https://twitter.com/PDChina/status/1226902394765746176 so this is either just huge dumb security theater (most likely tbh), or the CCP thinks this disease can last for a very long time on outdoor surfaces and poo poo... including on the outside of planes about to fly?? either way i like how they chose the creepiest cyberpunk music for the video

There is something seriously wrong with stock market, guys. The global supply chain is very close to a collapse and the stock market is still at an all time high. I think it might be sick.

I think it might be sick. large funds are selling a shitload of calls, and then algorithms crush volatility as money passively continues to pour in, so poo poo keeps grinding up. There's no excess demand for government paper and normal people assume all will be well, so poo poo has nowhere to go but up. Also the fed started "not QE" again in the fall, so there's a fuckload of liquidity sloshing around
