I have no idea why, it's safe to assume that as a demographic group they're less likely to have terrible views than men, but there seems to be less of a barrier to publicly expressing them when they do have them. Again, completely anecdotal and other people probably have different experiences. Now that i actually think about it, the two most openly racist people i've met irl were both women. One was an army brat raised on full RW AM radio, but eventually got over it and is now some variety of radfem. The other was a black woman who regularly compared herself to the old dave chappelle "clayton bixby, the black white supremacist" sketch. That lady was a goddamn MESS!
