its hard to pick between sonic 2 and sonic mania i'm realizing. theyre both extremely great. sonic advance 1 is the best dimps ever did for sonic and they just seemed to forget everything after that idk. changes in team probably

I'm sorry that you felt that way but I hope you've been feeling better since then Kerrzhe, regardless of dr pepper's attempts otherwise. Jamiroquai is very good, is there some backlash against Jay Kay now because I don't think I've ever heard anyone say Jamiroquai was ever not good.

Pursuant to the earlier convo, I looked up youtube videos about how complicated yugioh is now and Jesus tapdancing christ MTG is nothing compared to that Speaking of youtube, I just want to boost one of my favorite content creators. He's not a video game creator, he talks about music, but he's really good and avoids pretty much all the bad youtube tropes and also is not a completely insufferable douche like theneedledrop. His channel's called Todd in the Shadows and I especially recommend his "trainwreckords" series

Every time I try to figure out tuners and synchro and XYZ and link monsters my brain just starts playing a dial tone forever.

Ugh I was so, so bad at Yu-Gi-Oh. Everyone at my high school had expensive meta decks but I thought the idea of filling the deck with identical cards was boring as gently caress (and still do) and stuffed mine with as many dragons and dragon support cards as I possibly could. One time I was dragged to a weekly Yu-Gi-Oh event at some town hall, and I just got destroyed by far younger players over and over until I wanted to die. I stopped playing after that. Partially because there was a middle aged man who had clearly come on the way home from a high powered office job on his own to battle 10 year olds.

Sonic Mania is my favourite sonic. I have only played 3D sonic in generations and do not like 3D sonic. 2D feels right. I have a lot of trouble moving across to 3D versions of 2D games I loved (also see the Mario series). Sonic Colours, however, has one of the most beautiful sound tracks of the sonic games. Planet Wisp is a gorgeous tune that does not feel like a sonic piece. I could listen to Planet Wisp act 1 over and over. Hydrocity is my favourite sonic level and the Mania version is the best. Wisely the mania soundtrack pretty much keeps both Act 1 and Act 2 close to the 3+K versions because Tee Lopes is amazing and knows how dang good both those tracks are. Hydrocity music is also my favourite of all the sonic soundtracks and I had a snippet of the music in act 2 as my phone ring tone back in the day  (Also Jamiroquai is my favourite band of all time)

When I was in 5th grade I got some yugioh starter decks to make into what I thought was a good deck. The whole reason for this was because the school had a yugioh champion who got to have his own lunch table since lunch and recess were when people would play it. If you wanted to take his table, you had to challenge and win against him. I had gotten the cards on a Friday or Saturday and spent much of the weekend learning the rules and figuring out what kinds of cards would work best for taking him down. Come Monday, I saw him and told him that I had my own deck and that I was challenging him come lunch time. Then I tripped and dropped all of my cards and had to scramble to pick them up. He laughed and walked to homeroom. Come lunch, I sat down and we had our game. I lost, but in such a way that I became completely and utterly disheartened with the game as a whole and just never had any desire to try again. The loss also taught me just why this guy had an entire table to himself. I suspect that at some point, others just didn't want to put up with him and were letting him claim to be the school champion as a way of being able to let him do what he wants and not have to actually put up with any of his bullshit. You see, this guy had a few house rules for when he dueled. They were as follows: 1. Any monster can fuse with any other monster, creating a fusion whose attack and defense are the combined sum of its parts. 2. Any fusion monster can fuse with any other monster, fusion or otherwise, just adding attack and defense to the card. 3. You do not need a special fusion card to fuse cards, you just need to have cards in your hand and you can just play them one on top of another as often as you'd like. 4. Any particular magic card can be declared as a sorta wild card where you might draw one kind of card but you can say it is another kind of card and play it as one as long as you say that if you actually had a copy of the card, it would have been in the deck in place of the card you drew/played. 5. No such thing as special summoning, you can just draw and play whatever cards you want no matter how powerful they are. 6. The first 5 rules do not apply to the person challenging the school champion.

some fuckstick who I was friends with came over to my house one time and he said he needed to go inside to the bathroom but he was actually in there stealing all my valuable pokemon cards to give to other kids who he wanted to look cool for and then after I told his parents they had him give me his yugioh cards to make up for it thats my entire yugioh ccg experience
