I think I bricked my crappy coffee machine following these steps: 1. Buy Nespresso Citiz (120V, 60Hz, 1260W) 2. Run for the first time, try a "water only" round to clean it out with a simple plug adapter on 220V 3. It ran but only a little water trickled out so I tried to run it again 4. It turned off and wouldn't turn back on 5. I thought the power was the issue so I got a transformer to 110V/60Hz but it still won't turn on Pretty sure I'm an idiot who bricked his bad coffee machine, but just incase please let me know if you have any guidance. Thank you

You hosed it, I'm afraid. https://www.ifixit.com/Answers/View/371639/Does+the+Nespresso+Inissia+have+a+fuse 220v into a 110v machine will blow the circuit board.

If it is any consolation, some careful shopping e.g. deal in the shop on the machine + free capsules promo from Nespresso can mean that you can sometimes get the actual machines for a steal - assuming that you are going to be using genuine capsules.

There's an enormous, awesome coffee thread in GWS I would suggest checking out.
