I remember when Turisas first broke out and in the middle of the touring cycle their accordian player just up and vanished for a few months. They were completely unbothered by this and the response was "yeah he does this sometimes".

Got to see the Toxic Holocaust and Soulfly show last night here in Winnipeg. It was pretty drat good altho I was choked TH didn't get to play anything new. I talked to Joel beforehand and he was like, yeah - we're openers so no new stuff since it's way longer.  He didn't have much merch left either! No beer hat, no skateboard, no shirts. I should have just bought the new album on vinyl but whatevs, he's cool and I got a couple pins.Soulfly was pretty drat good live - no signs of the nu-metal stuff from the early days. Max is still great too. I got to meet him after the show on the bus and he's just so down to earth, saying he loves coming here and remembers the crowd being crazy when he brought Nailbomb. "MY ADRENALINE! I won't be sleeping till 2am."
