Seems to run pretty antithetical to Hiroyuki’s character at the end of Ten. I only read the first few chapters though so who knows. I wouldn't really recommend them to anyone who's not already a kaiji fan, but I found them enjoyable as someone looking for more kaiji. The plot mostly follows along the same, but much more sped up. There's one or two new gambles too, which are kind of forgettable but hey they're new.
