Watched YYH for the first time last year (read it years ago) and when me and the husbo wanted more I got to be all "ok but what if there *was* more." YYH WAS just so killer front to back and honestly my only complaint for it was that it ended lmao

So this year I watched the 2012 anime and then read manga for the first time ever to get current on this series. I so desperately want more, but I fear that Togashi is permanently burned out because this arc alone is so ambitious. There are a lot of questions even from the Chimera Ant arc that are going unresolved, and that feels bad because this and MHA are the best shoenen I've experienced. I'm at least thankful that I got to blast through everything while it was still on hiatus, so the wait hasn't been as bad but yeah. Just wanted to get that out there and also give false hope of an update to anyone with the thread bookmarked.

Basically HxH got picked up for a live action adaptation, so Togashi got in a fight with Uwe Boll about it, and won, but at the cost of his spine.

I would be better able to deal with this long rear end Hiatus x Hiatus if Togashi would do like he promised and at least clean up all the drat art. Argh! The loving story had an end (and it was a good end) and he decided to keep going.

I just finished the 2011 anime. drat, what a good show. Guess I need to start collecting/reading the manga now so I can be disappointed by there being little progress in the current arc like everyone else is! God, Ging just sucks so much. He makes Goku look like a helicopter parent.

gon kept meeting people who talked about how impressive ging is, but after ging actually showed up it became very obvious that most of them were selectively lying about what kind of person he was. the people who talked to gon about ging all liked gon, after all.

I saw 17 new posts in this thread and my first thought was "What the hell are people talking about now?", with the slim possibility of actual new chapters only occurring to me a couple seconds later, and being mostly dismissed before I even opened the thread.

I'm pretty sure that whenever Togashi deems us worthy of a new chapter again, it'll take me two weeks to actually read it because "new HxH chapter" doesn't parse as something real.
