So long as the infection doesn't spread outside of quarantine it was probably the right thing to do and maybe saved lives. Cruise ship as quarantine was a good idea but it didn't work for some reason

It they seize a few hotels and quarantine the healthy people on land, with a window room, they can avoid at least majority of the infection. I even said this on r/japan when the infected number was around 100.

And then ended it all with a photo of two different doors, one labeled 'Clean' and the other 'Dirty' leading into the same wide open passage through a section of the ship.
