Hello art thread, I am looking for some rather specific things, but I'm hoping you can help me out! Namely I'm looking for humans and dwarves in classical style clothing/armor, ie bring out your togas and sandals. Any ethnicity works great, doesn't have to be white people. As well in counter to that, I'm looking for orcs in your more standard medieval fantasy get up, so orc knights in shining armor, priests, that sort of thing! These would be background npcs so really anything that fits those categories would be aces.

Does anybody have evil lady knights? Some mixture of fantasy and sci-fi would be welcome, kind of like Adventure time or She-ra, but I'm not picky.

Personally, I like 'Farfestgris' because it sounds like something trying to say 'father Christmas' while extremely drunk, which is thematically perfect.

Hi art thread! Anyone have a secret stash of biomech creatures? I'm running a LANCER game and need concept art for the enemy mechs; I was going to use MtG Eldrazi but I've realised they aren't distinguishable enough - it'll help my players if they can look at a stand on the board and immediately intuit 'this is the long-range one with missile analogues, this one has a single big gun, this one wants to close to melee, this one wants to hack our systems' without having to ask me constantly what they all do. Any ideas? (If it helps this kind of thing is almost perfect, though I wish it was a little less rusty)

I don't know much about LANCER, and maybe you've already thought of it, but have you looked at Horizon Zero Dawn's machines? The robot dinos have pretty clear visual designs in a lot of variety, if you don't want dinosaurs and cretaceous adjacent creatures, it might at least lead to other art or ideas.

So my party started a new game of 5ed, homebrew with a western theme, revolvers, indians and cowboys. Being ”why not” I decided that the majority settler races would be gnomes and dwarwes, (and elves being Evil foreigners) with yan-ti and dragonborn filling the niche of the natives of the new world. Anyone got a veritable western theme dump hidden up on their sleeves? Valtonen fucked around with this message at 22:31 on Feb 27, 2020 |
