It all makes me think of Beetlejuice except a medieval watchtower instead of a farmhouse. It's located in Tuscany, so the climate is such you probably don't have to worry about heating it too much.

Honestly, get rid of the carpet and the curtain valance poo poo and you'd suddenly have a lot less green space trying to kick your eyes in.
( Could do with neutralising a few walls too but YMMV)

This is gorgeous. The worst part about the modern trend for mid-century is just how sterile it all is when actual mid century was anything but. In it's own way modern midcentury is a hipster answer to Joanna Gaines, faux French countryside, white-wash palooza. A bland, neutralization of design for people afraid of having to exhibit some kind of of personal taste.
