Anything with fancy filters, or modern tyvek or whatever ones, and the activated filters in the respirator itself of course, and yeah you're right. e: 'ks sake. The Service Respirator No.8 was a gas mask developed for the British Army, but unlike the earlier S6 or later S10 never saw widespread adoption. The guardian is awful, the only good thing it used to have was foreign policy stuff and then the brownshirts smashed all their stuff and they joined the D notice national security committee and now it's entirely poo poo. It's not quite as bad as MSNBC or Fox poisoning but it's very obvious my centrist dad's entire view of the UK is just whatever the guardian is writing about.

All I can ask is that everyone please stop panicking. If you have a compromised immune system then use all resources that you can to stay indoors for as long as possible if you cannot shake the anxiety. There is literally nothing anyone can do to stop if spreading, not even the most god brain of the most technocratic government in the world. The worst part is it’ll be over quicker if people get exposed to it sooner, but that is no consolation to the old, infirm and vulnerable. Also remember if you are a twenty two year old poster on this forum you may well get it and recover without ever knowing, so in that case be considerate of others and assume you could give it to others. The Guardian is terminally shite in a lot of ways, but slightly less shite than every other mainstream media outlet we currently have going. At least they occasionally let an interesting voice or attempt at actual journalism surface, gasping for air. Let's be honest even 'balanced' articles from the BBC end up feeling very TERF adjacent, like their headline from this morning. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-51676020 quote:NHS gender clinic 'should have challenged me more' over transition RockyB fucked around with this message at 00:55 on Mar 3, 2020 |

Of course a lot was the conservatives and liberals call harassment isn't, same as a lot of what is being called antisemitism isn't, but that doesn't mean it should yay antisemites and yay harassers who both make libs and cons melt down. The meltdowns achieved winning traction, votes, and arguments are all the sweeter anyway. Chris Matthews apparently walked out of Hardball before he was pushed after he had that huge meltdown over Sanders winning Nevada. I personally found that quite funny.
