Im gonna get poo poo off my chest for a minute Ultimately I dont know how much you can really blame people for having bad opinions and making bad choices. The non-obvious stuff anyway. Its the same problem with picking your own stocks - there is an entire institution filled with smart people working around clock trying to mislead you, to trick you, to obfuscate and lie to you. Its not about being smart, its a massive resource asymmetry. You dont stand a chance. Joe Biden being a segregationist doesnt make it on on TV, nor does his repeated public fondling of women. Oh and its gauche to mention the obvious dementia. But Bernie Sanders is a racist, a sexist, and dont forget the heart attack. And the poor people just want to beat Trump. To make their problems go away. Why the system was able to vomit forth such an absurd creature is an intractable problem. Best put it aside and trust the experts who have a hundred and one canned answers that all oddly lead right back to the status quo. Electoralism may be a dead end. The current time feels like such a rare moment, and if even it falls against this fortified and vicious propaganda machine what else could succeed? Revolution, the non-violent kind, may be the only way. I feel a lot better now

Warren has every right to stay in the race after tonight. But it shows that she was never the sober-minded progressive as she claimed. Liz Lads always crow about being the pragmatic "adults in the room" but if she honestly cared about a progressive agenda she'd squash beef and endorse Bernie. If you're in for Warren, be honest with yourself and interrogate how you'd feel if the positions were reversed at this very moment. It underlines, bolds, and italicizes the lie that was pitched early on that "Oh she and Bernie are LITERALLY THE SAME she's just a bit less head-in-the-clouds so the only reason not to like her is misogyny." For my part, like I said, she's within her rights. But I don't think she's going to reap whatever reward she's angling for for her Judas Goat efforts to divide and conquer the progressive wing on behalf of the establishment, and, honestly, VAE. loving. VICTIS. I will certainly contribute some of my time and money to anyone who primaries her for her senate seat from the left.
