It sucks that a lot of ballots went to presidential candidates that dropped out this weekend, but I was surprised how many votes went to candidates who have been out of the race for way longer. Julian Castro was in 4th in a border county, last time I checked.

A general election with no trump at all. Who wouldn't want to vote against him twice as much? My local US congressional representative is being challenged too, and it'd be nice for him to gently caress off forevermore never to be seen again. But then I didn't want to go through the research as to which candidates are the least horrible monster and whatnot.

I guess the electorate isn't ready to seriously consider addressing the root of the problems in society. Whatever, the fact that we came so close here in Texas of all places is still evidence that winning is possible and I'm sure we'll see more candidates like Bernie in the future. There is a lane, and it can only get better with time.
