I've been a college football fan for a long time so the only weird part of seeing "Tommy Tuberville" is seeing it outside of the sports page, but the success of his candidacy has been a fun reminder that even the burning hatred of the Auburn/Alabama college football rivalry can be outshone by white Alabamians' love of Trumpian racial politics.
