I can't actually stream Pix11 or get it on my antennae so that's actually really cool for me because I often end up listening to those games on the radio or watching them on my phone/tablet.

I saw YouTube TV lost Fox regionals with Sinclair a page or two back but from where I sit in Metropolitan Los Angeles, Fox Sports West and Prime Ticket (the FS regionals) are still up and watchable.

It's not like I can watch anything except the Clippers for NBA and the Kings and the Ducks for NHL (who are both in the absolute shitter) and The California Angels of Los Angeles By Way of Anaheim for MLB on there anyways.

Sooooo, I guess it's a hollow victory?

Lakers and Doyers have been behind the Charter paywall for so long I forget they both even play here.

I believe Sinclair postponed a cutoff while they negotiate a deal with YouTube.

And that was mostly because Al Michaels didn't want to move to ESPN along with Monday Night Football since that would mean giving up calling the Super Bowl.

I disagree, wholly. Golf is perfect for streaming. You can choose which hole or group you want to follow with a click, as opposed to simply "have one feed, pleb".

tbh i get it, it's on all day, there's a tournament every week, any kind of reliable undemanding diversion is a blessing. I'd pretty much never turn on a non-major golf tournament at home but if I still worked in an office and it doesn't require a trip to kewlstreams dot virus on a work computer I'd probably stream golf all the time just for the distraction

So uh... what does ESPN do if all of the sports are cancelled? I personally wouldn't mind watching endless repeats of Super Bowl LIV or the 2019 Stanley Cup, but I imagine I'm close to alone in that.

Right now I think its fine that they're doing the Sportscenters and talk shows since we're still like hours into "holy poo poo, sports are cancelled!" So they can milk that and talk about for awhile. But that's gonna wear out and I'd guess they change up programming sometime around Week 2.

But I guess there's still boxing matches, the Premier league, and WWE?
