I am thinking that the Iris situation is like that Buffy episode where there were two xanders, but rather than being good and evil, one was a slob and the other a snob. Just there is Iris who can cook and one who cannot.

Watching this as a pallatte cleanser from the debate and this is a pretty good "we can't afford that much screen time for everyone" so we'll have a Barry heavy episode. I remember people had similar complaints about Cisco’s antics when he was first starting out on the show so maybe they’ll tone him down or smooth things out the more they get a feel for his character.
