The US steadfastly refuses to put itself under the jurisdiction of the ICC. Trump specifically said he would take punitive actions against any ICC members investigating Americans for war crimes. At worst, Ghallager might have to avoid some travel. Even if he gets picked up, Trump would probably threaten sanctions to free the war criminal.

She will endorse Biden as she stayed in this long to siphon votes from Sanders because she is actually not progressive or good, Namaste

Arven posted:Even if she doesn't, Bernie has a chance again. I'm not so sure about that. They've got similar policies, but I suspect a lot of her supporters will end up moving to Biden - either due to electability concerns with Sanders, or over personal dislike of him and his supporters. There's a reason a lot of them weren't supporting Sanders in the first place. It sucks though. I liked Warren and liked her policies, and imo she probably would have made for a better administrator than Sanders in the Oval, even if Sanders was willing to go farther on certain policies. It's just a shame to see it come to an end like this.

It's a very distinct possibility that Biden blows out Michigan/Florida and wraps this thing up in the next two weeks. That might not happen, but it's a strong trend based on Super Tuesday and state polling.

If this thread is any indication, the overlap of Warren and Bernie supporters is bigger than the overlap of Bern/Warren and Biden.

/\ it's not. It was pretty close to 5050 early on but it has definitely soured after all of the attacks. Yeah, it's over already. Biden vs Trump. Nursing home steel cage match.

Cant wait for all the Republicans to attack Biden's dementia while ignoring Trump's being further along. Like yeah, Biden will forget things in the debate but Trump will literally be making GBS threads his pants.

Mr. Bad Guy posted:He never didn't have a chance. Even a 3-way debate was going to to make it painfully obvious how bad Biden has gotten. It really does come down to how badly Biden's brain sizzles in the next month or so. If he stammers and drools enough then it's gonna blow his huge "electability" advantage and Bernie still has a very good chance. If Biden holds it together well enough then the olds will flock to him and we're all hosed.

The olds will flock to him regardless. A lot of them still long for the days of "reaching across the aisle" and believe that the GOP will come to their senses BS, ignoring that they were horrible all of the Obama admin. A lot of them believe younger people arent thriving because we don't work hard enough. And a lot of them straight up are racist, they just prefer it be cloaked. So they'll vote for Whimsy Joe so we can go back to how it should be, with kids in cages and you not knowing about it

Let me rephrase my earlier post. People still seem to think it's Democrats versus Republicans when in reality it's the old vs everybody else as they try and burn the house down on their way out to collect the insurance money to spend in Florida.

People still also think that the Democrats and the Republicans don't answer to the same masters and it's not really as much of a choice as they think it is.

Biden isn’t going to institute any kind of universal healthcare or other reform badly needed by the nation. A Biden presidency won’t be a rubber stamp like Trump, but huge parts of it will remain as they are today. A biden presidency will see cuts to social programs and the continued loving of the poor to billionaire’s benefit.
