Multi-lug setups are a solved problem and provide at least some redundancy if a chucklefuck forgets to torque everything down. The only real benefit of single-lug setups is reduced pit time, and they introduce other fun new problems like "how the gently caress do you hit 300 ftlb torque changing a spare".
