i don't post in CSPAM, but since I know there are people struggling here, I thought I'd throw out an offer to help find jobs. I have decent contacts in various places throughout the country doing (mostly) blue collar work. Some is Union, but there are some jobs with an ESOP that treats their employees really well. I'm also pretty good at resume editing and gaming the indeed.com job searches. I figured I'd throw an offer out there to help. I'm also aware of a decent track to get good union employment (most ppl make $70-100k after a few years) in Louisiana and Texas, if you're not morally opposed to working in chemical manufacturing. I work freelance and theres definitely a feast and famine cycle in this town. a few parts of the year are busy and money is good, but it requires planning for the dead times of the year. I do have xp in food service though, some fast casual and some trendy cafe stuff, if you know of a place that would take me part time for any back of house from line cook to dishwasher let me know.

Hey. After half a year+ of unemployment I landed a job, discovered the bimonthly pay schedule means I don't get squat until the end of the month, and y'all did me a major favor by making sure I've got some staples, deodorant, and some water treater goop so my dumbass catfish don't die in their own waste while I ride the month out. Thank you! I've met lots of great people through the food banks and pantries, job centers and all that, but folks doing this sort of thing anonymously on the internet is something else entirely. Don't want to make a promise I can't keep, but I'll try my best to join in for at least _something_ monthly once I'm out of this mess!
