I found out about them in a thread on Reddit about black metal that's anti-fascist. They were described as "psychedelic black metal", and that describes them pretty well.

Agreed completely. I went in barely knowing what to expect based purely on a 'hey you should check them out you'll enjoy them live' recommendation and my mate was right. The band and crowd were both into it and fed off each other. Great gig.

FYI Joe Lester dropped off the tour due to injury so they're piping in his bass parts.

I just saw the Intronaut/Emma/Cult of Luna show last night in Hollywood and Joe played the whole set sitting on a stool and walked off with crutches. The show was fantastic and super tight.

Makes sense since they're from LA. In Chicago he was absent.

Bongzilla worth the Corona risk? Rest of the line up is all local, but man I haven't seen a show in a hot minute. Completely missed the Opeth/Graveyard show last month.

I'm going to it. Reggie's is not that big of a place, especially since they're playing the Music Joint and not the Rock Club. Nowhere near the size of the Riviera.

I'm definitely not missing out on Om on Friday.

The full album is now released on Bandcamp. Streaming platforms should follow (well, they should be live now, but apparently they aren't). Two more slabs, one of which is monolithic.

I’ve been surprised by the lack of venue info considering all the emails I’m getting from just about every other business I’ve dealt with.

It would actually be cool to go to a show with everyone looking like this

21st Century Awezome Man

Their new song is out and it's exactly the kind of weird I need right now. Some parts of the song are evoking a weird sense of "I've dreamed about this/had nightmares where I've heard these sounds" feeling. Like it's not exactly scary, but more unnerving and inexplicable.
