Ornacia came back, so it can't be all that bad. However, robbing Heidi to manufacture a win for [redacted] definitely puts it down there. She didn't even deserve to be in the top, let alone win. Why they keep doing Jan dirty? Nicky's runway should've saved her from lip syncing. In fact, she should've been swapped in the bottom with Aiden. I thought Crystal was gonna lip sync for sure too.

Yeah having watched it and managing to eke some enjoyment out of it bc of Heidi, Jackie and charo, breastworld is still the reigning queen of how bad this show can really get. Some incredible runways this week, would be furious if nicki had gone home in that outfit tbh

I’m not even sure there was a bad or particularly noticeably mediocre runway this week, some of them went really overboard and stood out but I wouldn’t boot a single look out there if I was feeling good about myself The lip synch was very tepid as well, not a great start to the season proper but I’m not gonna tune out bc Tim Burton’s penguin aside I like all the girls this season quite a bit Jezza of OZPOS fucked around with this message at 10:27 on Mar 14, 2020 |

TV IV › RuPaul's Drag Race Season 12: It's Strawberry Shortcake if she ran a brothel I honestly didn't mind the challenge. It wasn't great but I was entertained. (I'm also really needed this so I may be giving it too much leeway, but in general, I'm an easy audience.) Heidi [TBD] is a shoo-in for Miss Congeniality, right? Unless she does something ridiculous I can't imagine the other queens not voting for her.

I can’t believe Aiden “I glued some buttons on a regular dress” Zhane was safe and Nicky wasn’t. That button wig was genius and frankly the reason 2 of the Girl Scouts weren’t entertaining in the sketch was because the sketch was terrible. The only thing that was genuinely funny in any of the maxi challenge was some of the fruit puns, and if Dhalia had done broccoli properly (or someone else had been in the group) that could have been a legitimately funny sketch. What’s with all the name hate for Heidi? They made her go by “N” instead of “Nina”, which rolls off the tongue much easier and then hate on the name so much? And why the big deal about “Just Jan” but there’s no mention/allusion to Brita dropping the “Filter” from hers?

Aiden really didn't deserve to stay on the show after that mess full stop. I heard something about how someone (Phoenix?) handles most of the bookings in Atlanta and has never heard of her so she's not really a performer but I can't find any sources on that one but it wouldn't surprise me.

Just finished the episode, quick thoughts: Did they lose sponsorships? They're all just getting 5k dollars as a prize now. Aiden's dress wasn't even fitted and she was safe and yet Nicki Doll had to lip sync with that amazing mixture of glamour and camp? Yeah ok.... That lip sync song was terrible, have we run out of gay anthems to lip sync to already?

I did not mind this challenge but would have preferred the traditional sewing challenge for first elimination instead. I actually found 3 Girls, 1 Brain hilarious because of how over the top awful it was. Ross couldn't hold it together either. I don't even remember Kandy Ho. Why was her edit bad and was their reason for it?

Episode 1 was incredible, 2 was pretty good, 3 was just kinda bad. But it seems like even if this show goes on for another twelve seasons we still won't get one good scripted acting challenge, (because let's be real that was more scripted than improv) so I guess it shouldn't have been a surprise. Heidi or Jackie should've won. I don't know how Sherry even particularly stood out when her team's performance was just one big unfunny note (and seriously which part of that could even be called improv??). That said, I'm forced to admit that I thought Sherry's look was good. Can Nicki just coast until like the halfway point though? I don't care I just want to see more of her runways. Her look tonight was just

Production caught on with Kandy Ho and basically gave her no storyline in the edit/hasn't cast anyone from Puerto Rico since.

I think they’d been doing it since season 4 when madame la queer got in anyway alongside the ‘official’ pick (Kenya). If you look at the next two PR girls (lineysha sparx, April carrion) they get a very similar treatment to kandy ho. We haven’t had a PR queen since season 7 either iirc so I wonder if they just stopped doing it or production stopped casting them
