Dunno if anyone else updated the news about the "banned for asking for a refund" thing but... https://www.reddit.com/r/EscapefromTarkov/comments/fhx6nt/regarding_the_bsg_stole_topic_turns_out_they_didnt/  They put in a chargeback before asking for a refund. If you don't know, chargebacks are brutal on companies and it's very common to ban people from your service if they try to commit one.

That way they don't even know they're being hosed with until it ends, when they get a notification and rage about their lost week of wonderful and important posts. Also there's a account feature that lets you optionally see hellbanned posts (in a different color and with no reply button so you're reminded not to reply to them).

I've been having an absolute blast running around with just a pistol on Reserves. It's such a good map and has so many good places to surprise someone with a pistol. Most of the other maps are outdoorsy and it's harder to get kills. I imagine Shoreline could be decent and I actually am gonna try running that tonight since I also have all the keys for it. Customs has some areas but you can basically insure you are gonna find someone at dorms, so the surprise factor isn't there. Interchange is just too much for me. I only want to do Interchange with a squad. But Reserves is perfect for running in with a silenced pistol and getting a bunch of loot in your secure container.

Well I guess i'll just hang out in my Hideout and play on the flea market then, until (if) they ever get a wrangle on the hacks. I haven't really been affected by them though. It always seems to be other peoples problem. In about an hour I get to start level 3 bitcoin farm building and I just spent 7.5mil on the last of the graphics cards I need. After it's done, i'll have maxed out the Hideout. I can say I at least did something this patch.

I've got about 17mil and a good assortment of poo poo in my stash. Honestly I don't feel a great desire to do a lot knowing there is a wipe coming in X months, and probably more in the next X years until this thing is done. It feels like a lot of what I'm doing is pointless. I think I get Tarkov now.

Had a weird desync happen to me and my buddies on reserve when a player scav jumped us: I shot him point blank in the thorax with a mosin and saw sparks flying like I hit concrete. He proceeded to miss 30 shots with a looted M4 and switched to a pistol while warping around. He got me in the end and ran into a room where my buddy was healing and he got him. The weirdest thing was that my 3rd buddy who was with me in the hallway never saw the guy and even his corpse was invisible. He just saw me freaking out with a mosin but no player scav. I confirmed it on discord stream when my other friend was looting and on his screen he was just looting nothing. Then the friend who was looting said he is going to extract but on the other guys screen he was stuck in the room in a healing animation even though in his game he was already running outside

Both of the experiences used to be relatively frequent in the first couple years of the game but I haven't had them happen in a long while. I think my 'best' on was over fifteen minutes of desync between me and a friend.

I'm thinking either a Tactec or the Zhuk that ragman sells or Killa armor, plus some sort of helmet with a faceshield? If anyone has nice gun builds I'm all ears too, want to start playing more with VSS's and low recoil M4's / AK's
